Casey McGrath graduated from the University of California at Davis in June 2008 with a B.S. in Microbiology. His field of study is primarily in bacterial physiology, identification, and novel culturing techniques. His main research interest is environmental microbiology and microbial metabolism with an emphasis in bioremediation.
While completing my undergraduate coursework, I supported himself by guiding whitewater rafting and rock climbing trips for UCD Outdoor Adventures, so all the pictures I have of myself involve helmets and gore-tex. This is honestly the best picture I could find.
