I am a 35 year old third stage Lyme’s Disease survivor, present Rheumatoid Arthritis sufferer, and Mentally and Physically Disabled Entrepreneur. My Vision of the future manifests around happiness, success in my business /social/ personal endeavors, and continued commitment to transforming disenfranchised communities leveraging my entrepreneurial spirit. I graduated from Slippery Rock University in 1997 with a BA in Mass Communications. I personally have been a top performer for three medium to large communication providers in my 10 year tenure in the Communications Industry. My firm is called ADVANZ, LLC I started my own enterprise in September 2005 and had 600k in revenues for 06. My company ADVANZ has positioned itself as a State and Nationwide Innovator in Youth and Minority Entrepreneurship Awareness and Education, and a thought leader in 21 Century Communications and Economic Development Consulting. We have created Intellectual Property and are in the process of implementing a economic development strategy called UnleashPA which will involve a long term contract to implement Cisco Systems’ Entrepreneurship Institute throughout the Commonwealth and surrounding states. AdVanz, LLC Awareness Division acts as the active State Director for National and Global Entrepreneurship Week.
I am a former “YMCA Black Achiever of the Year”, and serve on the development board for the Young Minority Achievers’ Program. In 2005 I received Congressional and Senatorial Recognition Awards for my commitment to the Erie community. In 2008 AdVanz was selected to represent the Region in the GCOAAF Governor’s Business Summit, Panelist For the Education and Business Partnership, and Youth Entrepreneurship Symposium at Penn State NERCDC. November 2008 I received a National Award for Business Creativity and Entrepreneurship Program Design. I am active in National, State and Local politics.
