WORK EXPERIENCE
| Employer: | Stanford University |
| Position: | Student Compost Coordinator |
| Time period: | January 2010 - Present |
| Description: | I work with the management of an on campus eatery to maximize the efficacy of their
composting program. My contributions include designing signs to motivate the public to compost their waste as much as possible and educate them on how to do so, conducting personal outreach with customers, and assessing inventory of composting materials. |
| Employer: | sustainablechillin.com |
| Position: | Co-Founder and President |
| Time period: | June 2009 - Present |
| Description: | Sustainable Chillin – sustainablechillin.com
My brother and I started Sustainable Chillin to raise awareness of current environmental issues in our quest to have the green movement further permeate society. The company strategically uses the sale of 100% organic cotton t-shirts as an environmental education tool. Each of our four designs addresses a different environmental issue. I created a handout for each design (these are printed on 100% post-consumer waste recycled paper with soy-based ink and placed in biodegradable sheet protectors) which elaborates how people can address the issue at hand in their daily lives. Before purchasing the shirts, consumers must sign a pledge that they will actually read the handouts and work to become a more sustainable “chiller.” |

| Time period: | April 2009 - Present |
| Description: | I work to instill environmental interest in the minds of first graders by teaching them the
