Mr. Stewart served Malcolm Baldridge award winning Motorola’s $1B Internet and Networking Group, during his tenure the head of Motorola quality named him Chief Technology Officer while he personally earned Motorola’s highest information technology ranking of Strategic Advisor Technical Analyst for his role in directing cross-functional teams to develop highly secure and federally audited Internet-centric, encrypted communications systems.

Until May 2006, Mr. Stewart was Chief Technology Officer for John Sculley’s Verified Person deep background screening concern located in New York City where he organized and outsourced development and quality operations to Patni Computer Systems of India. Bob web service enabled Verified Person’s multi-terrabyte datawarehouse service providing market efficiencies which catalyzed hyper growth for their customers.

Stewart is currently Executive Director, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of CyberMedica Stewart was the original Chief Technology Officer and a Vice President at CyberMedica before he purchased the company’s intellectual property portfolio and remaining assets in 2002. The CyberMedica Foundation improves responsible research around the world and participates as standards provider of peer-reviewed infrastructure platforms for technology to deliver secure open-systems for collaborative scientific research for biotech and pharmaceutical discoveries for companies worldwide.

Prior to CyberMedica, Stewart was an investment advisor with a number of venture capital firms in North America and Europe. He has also been involved, both as an investment advisor and a transition manager, in substantial M&A activity including a $220M acquisition from BellSouth and a $290M acquisition from Compaq (now HP).

Stewart also earned global recognition as Chief Technology Officer for CMGI’s Zip2 and MyWay.com, which was ranked a ‘Top-25 Portal’ during his tenure. Stewart was responsible for all aspects of corporate information technology and production technical delivery departments for CMGI’s personal portal business units where he managed a worldwide staff of over 180 professionals.

Bob’s entrepreneurial spirit started several technology services companies in the early nineties. Before that he served for several years as the Production Director of then family owned, national magazine and book publisher, Northland Press, Inc. which he joined shortly after his discharge from the Marine Corps following attendance at the University of new england.

Description: Developed technology initiatives for tier-one funded Verified Person the company is a leading provider of Risk Management and Fraud Protection Information solutions. VP is Chaired by John Sculley the former CEO of both Apple Computer and Pepsi. VP was formed to solve a key issue within today's economy - the ability to validate that individuals are, in fact, whom they present themselves to be. Customers closed during my tenure include; FBI, Wackenhut, Taleo, Yellow Roadway, ADP, and Wal-Mart.
Developed a billion record data warehouse, data mart and operational data store containing identification and verification information including, credit header, criminal, sex offender, professional licensure, terrorist and employment-related data.
Led all aspects of engineering and offshore development of a variety of distinct information services targeting individuals, businesses and government entities.
Developed www.VPassure.com a B2B solution for conducting pre-employment background screens as well as recurring workforce due diligence checks. Including; Sex Offender, Identity Verification, Federal Criminal, Education and Employment Histories, Professional Licensure and Certifications, Motor Vehicle Reports, Credit Reports, Civil and Bankruptcy Records, Workers Compensation, Office of Inspector General Exclusion, General Services Administration, Exclusion Terrorist Watch list and Drug Screening.
Developed www.VPid.com an B2C identity self-verification tool aimed at building trust in the digital world. The service addresses online users' desire for an enhanced level of comfort and safety when communicating and transacting via the Internet. VPid was designed to address the needs specific to transaction-based online communities, such as: dating and personals, social and professional networking and auctions.

Description: A venture funded ($12M) B2B Internet start-up providing an application service provider platform to speed cures to market for the drug and device discovery industry. Key member of the executive management team before personally securing all intellectual property rights including trademark and patent rights from the Chapter 7 estate of cyberMedica, Inc. where I held the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer position during its pre IPO flare and demise in 2001. Subsequently founded the closely held not-for-profit private Cybermedica Foundation. Recruited renowned human ethics champion Dr. Greg Koski as Chairman and together have improved responsible human research throughout the world by gifting to humanity the entire application service provider software platform for integrated collaborative research, funding and grants management, institutional review board management, clinical trials management and peer-reviewed document publication. We engaged the foundation with the US State Department, The American Academy of Pharmaceutical Physicians and the World Health Organizations' Strategic Initiative for Developing Capacity in Ethical Review (SIDCER) and have distributed over 300 licenses worldwide providing an auditable, peer-reviewed clinical technology infrastructure.

Description: Originally hired as the VP of Development I rapidly took on responsibility for all technical aspects of CMGI’s Internet portal business units whose customers included Compaq, Bell South, the UK’s Trinity Mirror Group, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, The Houston Chronicle, The Denver Post and over 100 other major newspapers. I led the development, operations and portal application service provisioning of private-label, flexible, co-branded consumer content and portal functionality. I was responsible for networking, platform architecture, datacenter infrastructure, datacenter operations, customer service, data warehousing and analytics. As CTO I also regularly performed technology due-diligence and served as an investment advisor and a transition manager of a bi-coastal staff of over 150 professionals for M&A activity including a $220M acquisition from Bell South and a $290M acquisition from Compaq.

Description: $1B consolidated Internet holdings of the Motorola Communications Enterprise. Directed Motorola ING’s Information Systems Program Management Office with fast-turn project phases. Led highly matrixed NA, LA, EMEA and ASIA\PAC cross-functional teams to develop and deploy Motorola's next-generation multilingual business-to-business systems in support of e-commerce, software unbundling and customer service efforts for the Vanguard networking and cable data product lines. Worked extensively with in-house council to ensure international regulatory compliance and expand intellectual property portfolio.
Lead a TCS team improving top-box customer satisfaction scores. Earned the highest possible individual Information Technology HR track technical ladder ranking of Motorola E10 Strategic Advisor Technical Analyst. Named Internet Chief Technology Officer by Motorola’s then Director of Quality Tom Nolette during the period when Motorola won the Malcolm Baldridge award.
Recommended, acquired and implemented Broadvisions comprehensive content management and community based customer relationship and channel profiling portal for Motorola ING’s very first CRM efforts with single sign-on and a unified and updated look-and-feel for the customer facing Internet and partner extranet.
Developed Motorola’s eTAC (electronic Technical Assistance Center) in support of Total Customer Satisfaction TCS initiatives with Motorola’s Strategic Services Marketing Group. Gartner’s DataQuest group exclaimed “eTAC rivals Cisco’s web services portal.” This system was designed to feed service orders to call center IVR service entitlement and escalation queues, integrated with Clarify logistics and online ordering via a custom configurator interfaced with Oracle ERP to just-in-time manufacturing of devices containing software licenses and support contracts.
Selected assignments included: Specified hardware and software, achieved buy in with corporate standards bodies to evaluate and recommend solutions, facilitated acquisition, uncrated, installed, setup, configured and administered three tiered B1 secure, forward and reverse proxy, x509v3 LDAP authenticated, e-commerce and DMZ firewall implementation, with Oracle on HPUX K-Class backend data infrastructure running HPUX Virtual Vault least trust operating system tied to an EMC storage sub-system with a Veritas robotic tape backup in Motorola’s datacenter and NOC.

Description: Abridged: Developed designed and implemented a single sign-on environment for Motorola’s disparate business units and channel partners using x509v3 certificates with an LDAP directory server structure serving SSL pages via Netscape servers executing Broadvision software including custom scripting to achieve seamless integration.
Received personal accolades from Gartner’s DataQuest subsidiary on this project.
