| Description: | XPress’s sister company, I was delegated along with selected key staff to establish a nationwide iDEN network in Saudi Arabia, which was built under a B.O.T agreement with the incumbent operator Saudi Telecom (STC).
With the increased demand for the provision of special coverage and technical requirements of prospective high-profile clients such Saudi ARAMCO and Saudi Airlines, the Special Projects Department was establish and I was assigned to it to handle such projects and manage its accounts. Responsibilities: ● Plan and manage special coverage projects ranging from large scale in-building system to full macro sites depending on customers’ requirements and mobilization of Cells-on-Wheels CoWs. ● Manage technical requirements of high-profile customers and provide sales support through preparing bid responses, compliance statements & provide technical documentation. ● prepare feature development documents and take part in specification and development of new products and services related to the managed accounts or to the general offering of the network. ● Preparing and producing weekly, monthly and periodic executive reports for the technical department that covers key performance indicators, network operations and narratives. ● Plan and manage the yearly Hajj season project in which CoWs are deployed and special O&M and 24 hour operation cycle is implemented. |

I joined the company as a trainee and worked my way to the following responsibilities: ● Civil, mechanical, electrical and telecom works follow-up for cell-sites implementation. ● eBTS installation, commissioning and trouble-shooting. ● Microwave transmission equipment (PDH, SDH and ADM) installation, commissioning and trouble-shooting. ● Cell-sites acceptance procedures, including VSWR and RF sub-system testing. ● Cell-sites integration with the main switch office (MSO). ● Indoor coverage solution planning, installation and deployment. ● Project planning and outlining. ● Departmental budget documentation and forecasting. ● Establishing technical and financial comparisons for managerial decision-making purposes. |
