Description: I am to analyse the company’s sales and marketing strategy rigorously, generate sales leads through implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy and propose novel approaches to inside and online sales. I am to deliver an effective introduction to advertising on Balconytv.com to present key contacts with. Responsibilities include: formulating promotions, marketing and arriving at sponsorship activation; online promotion and field promotion; Creating and preparing promotional materials such as mailers, and flyers; researching and calling prospective partners and sponsors; updating databases, clerical work; reporting directly to executive management on results, performance and strategy formulation. Time management is key as hours are flexible, however I am required to be dependable, working as part of the balconytv.com team, which is that of a fast-paced start-up.

Description: I worked in a non-formal education centre in Kolkata, located on Makaltala municipal dump. I taught children and teens (ranging in age from 10 – 18) Maths and English (as a foreign language). This placement was undertaken as part of the Suas overseas volunteer programme. I also raised 2,995 euro through fundraising activities. Activities included supermarket bag packing, the women’s’ mini marathon and selling scones and tea/coffee outside the entrance of the college library during the exam period.

Description: I worked as part of the alumni branch of the Trinity Foundation. I cold-called Trinity alumni from all over the world, informing them of alumni events/activities, developments in Trinity College and solicited for donations to the Trinity Annual Fund. This required me to develop a winning telephone manner and present an effective ask to alumni. I performed effectively, securing over €1,000 in donations for the fledgling fund.
