Asif Chauhan is a technology enthusiast, with a computer scientist's mind and an entrepreneur's soul. He seeks to be part of exciting future opportunities, no matter where they are, as he believes life is too short for monotony!
Asif is currently serving as a Principal at V3Data, a groundbreaking startup providing software intellectual asset valuation, software escrow consulting, encryption key services for encryption key management, software audits for FASB 141/142, electronic records consulting for SEC compliance, and patent brokering.
Asif started off his career at Iron Mountain providing expert opinion on source code Escrow analysis. Asif provided IT Compliance consulting services (D3P) to the Fortune 2000 Wall street firms where he designed some of the central elements of the service that required prospective customers to sign NDAs before viewing. Asif supported IM's nationwide sales team as the Subject Matter Expert, Sales Engineer and Business Development Manager substitute.
Asif is a fan of “big picture”, and is looking to utilize his uncanny passion for OOP web technologies, open source, cloud computing, Internet Marketing, and the evolution of internet 2.0 & 3.0 architecture, and everything else under the sun.
Last but not least, Asif strives to become a half-decent snowboarder after three years of snow-chugging.
