FULL BIO
I am working on a project to develop solar refrigeration technologies mainly cold storage in remote areas of India. Earlier, I have worked on various power plant technologies in BHEL and ALSTOM germany. I have also worked with Husk Power System to design an absorption chiller for their plant which works by extracting jacket heat of their engine. Husk Power System is a renowned startup in social sector which provides electricity in remote villages of India from rice husk.
I am very much interested in cleantech and would like to work on more challenging projects with startups worldwide.

I am currently involved in calculating pressure losses in piping and piping insulation to form the technical guideline to issue orders to the supplier. |

| Description: | I was responsible for making a report on the profiles of various steam turbine blades (for 250 MW and 500 MW steam turbines). I studied in detail about the advantages of different profiles of blades and their efficiencies when installed in various stages of the turbine. Based upon my report, I was asked to predict the types and amount of blades that would be required in an 800 MW steam turbine. The project is under consideration at BHEL which is planning to upgrade its manufacturing abilities to construct 800 MW turbines to meet India’s power demand. |
