Startup type: Competition Entry
Status: On Hold
Stage: Just An Idea
FULL BIO
Everything started in December 2008 when I began writing my paper for Education Without Borders on my project idea called "eHub." Half a year later, I became one of 15 innovative students chosen by TakingITGlobal to take part in The 5th Microsoft Innovative Teachers Conference in Malaysia where I presented my project "eHub" for the first time. The idea was about building multipurpose centers featuring total "green" environment for high school students to develop their environmental consciousness and career interests. I continued to develop my idea into a general mechanism capable of passive climate change mitigation called "capital flow based emission control mechanism" and was sponsored to present at several conferences, both in person and virtually.
In the same time frame, I've been assisting YOUNGO, UNFCCC youth constituency's virtual presence, in preparation for youth activities at COP15 and COP16. In particular, I played significant role in selecting COP15 community facilitator, COP15 report writer, COP16 Global South Youth funding recipients. I helped Debatewise for a short period of time as a country coordinator to facilitate debates of Vietnamese and Japanese participants prior to and during COP15.
In the past, I was a proud contributor of Sex & Health column of Hoa Hoc Tro, a popular teen magazine in my country. I was also a vivid copywriter of Yeah1, a popular online teen community, who produced allegedly funniest posts at that time, 2008.
Half a year ago, I took a dramatic turn in goal setting - aiming to compose an international bestseller fantasy sci-fi novel which embodies all of my ideas so far. I am at chapter 3 and never this excited about something before!
