Position: Sales & Customer Support Intern
Time period: December 2009
Description: Worked with senior management to design and implement a new system for tracking product lifecycle. The implementation of this new system provided more roust and verifiable reporting metrics and contributed quicker customer service turns. I worked directly with salesforce.com to implement and train the staff on the new system. I created a custom system for managing returned goods inventory and tracking root cause analysis.The remainder of my time was spent facilitating critical support calls and solving customer and distributor issues.

Position: Foreign Exchange Service Intern

Description: I was responsible for managing and qualifying incoming leads generated by our website and passing them to the relevant Foreign Exchange Specialist.Over the course of the summer I designed, planned, and presented a new CRM tool. The tool was designed to meet the needs of a rapidly growing unit and address the issues of lead loss and customer retention. After designing and building mockups I presented my ideas to a technical team.The tool was implemented after I finished my internship.

Description: I designed and created a youth orientated travel website. I worked with developers from India as well as the US to help them understand my vision.I also employed writers to create stock material. While the website was not nearly as successful as I had hoped the learning experience was invaluable.
The initial investment was earned back within the first year. I eventually choose to spend my time on school work instead of developing the site further.

Position: Commercial Advisory Service Intern
Time period: December 2007
Description: This was a pilot project within a Commercial Banking office. The goal of the unit was to integrate and provide operational synergies between the Commercial Banking and Investment Banking units of the bank. My role was to prepare presentation materials that would highlight potential Investment Banking activities within the Commercial Banking customer base. I would complete market research, identify the appropriate valuation methods and help to analyze any potential merger and acquisition potential. The work I did was used to prep the bankers before meeting customers. I also spent my time organizing and qualifying leads according to business potential. My work was integral to the success of this unit due to the complex nature of this pilot project.
