Abhishek is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Biosense Technologies Private Limited. In this role, he leads a team which is responsible for development of ToucHb ,a novel, non-invasive hemoglobin estimation device envisioned for use in low resource settings. He is interested in developing sensors, intelligent algorithms, medical electronics apart from neurology and psychiatry.
Trained in internal medicine from T.N.Medical College, Mumbai and pursuing Bioengineering from Indian Institute Technology, Bombay, his multidisciplinary background aids in bridging medicine and engineering.
Abhishek has received a fellowship for Point of Care Diagnostics in Global Health, University of Washington, Seattle and the prestigious Echoing Green fellowship for social entrepreneurship
