  • 1. One week to go – 450.000 DKK in cash prizes awaiting the best business plans!

    Time’s flying and believe it or not, the deadline for entering the 2010 Startup Competition is in no less than 7 days. We’ll be giving away prizes for almost half a million DKK to the best business ideas in 5 categores:

    Software, Services, Life Science & Medtech, Cleantech, and Applied Technology

    You can enter by submitting a 15-20 page business plan, but before you submit your business plan be sure to check out our online resource center where you’ll get inputs on exactly what to include and what not to include, in order to impress our jury. It might also be a good idea to check out the criteria that the jury will use in evaluating your business plan.

    Ps. the final will take place at Copenhagen City Hall where +250 businesspeople, investors, business angels, serial entrepreneurs and top university people will be waiting to get to know and celebrate the most promising student startups of the year. Only the top three in each category will get to pitch at the final, so make sure YOUR team gets to the final!

  • 3. Fonden for Entreprenørskab new sponsor

    We are pleased to announce that Fonden for Entrepreneurskab are now confirmed as new sponsors of Venture Cup. The purpose of the foundation is to strengthen Denmark’s international competitiveness by promoting entrepreneurship and innovation throughout the educational system – a goal which is also at the core of Venture Cup. We are therefore pleased to be working with the foundation on strengthening entrepreneurial activity in Denmark.
