ABOUT US
The Innovator Accelerator and the Center for BioEntrepreneurship at UCSF would like to welcome you to the 2009 Innovator Accelerator Competition. This event aims to promote interaction between the entrepreneurial UCSF community and related industries locally and abroad, including other universities, venture capitalist, investment banks, lawyers and consultants interested in translational medicine.
This year, our competition will be fully integrated with our “Idea to IPO…and beyond” course (http://cbe.ucsf.edu/cbe/2500-DSY.html) which teaches the basics of life sciences entrepreneurship. This course will provide you with the basic understanding on how to write a business plan, intellectual property issues, how to “pitch” your idea, among others. However, participation in the course is not a requirement for the competition.
