We invite all of you who are considering the social entrepreneurship competition to also consider entering the William James Foundation's Sustainable Business Plan Competition. We focus heavily on feedback, so that you can have a stronger entry for the Tufts competition. We have a total of $150k in prizes and cash, and all entrants must be for-profit multiple bottom line companies. See details at www.williamjamesfoundation.org/howtoenter.
I am excited to take advantage of this opportunity to compete in the 2011 Tufts University Business Plan Competition with the business I started four and a half years ago in Houston, Texas. The name of the organization my brother Patrick and I will be representing in this year's program is The Brendan Ryan Company. My father is a Tufts Alumni, and former singer for the Beelzebubs, and he too, is excited that we've registered to compete with other teams in the 2011 Tufts University Business Plan Competition this spring.
