  • 1. Speed Networking Event

    Thanks to everyone who turned out for the penultimate leg of the global speed networking whistle stop tour last Wednesday, which was a great success. Although most people including myself were a bit sceptical at first of 'speed networking', once Oli blew his whistle there was a good buzz about the place and everyone seemed to really enjoy it.

  • 2. Ulster Bank Enterprise Competition

    In fact, we thought the speed networking concept was such a cool idea, that we are thinking about holding our own speed networking event to coincide with the launch of our Ulster Bank Enterprise Competition. The idea is that students can network with each other, particularly if they are looking to find a partner for the competition. Watch this space to hear more but we are thinking about a date during Global Entrepreneurship Week possibly the 18th.

  • 3. Internship Evening

    For all students, particularly junior sophistor students, who are looking for a job during the summer, we are holding an internship evening where we'll be inviting select employers to talk about their summer programme. Provisional date: November 12th @ 7pm in the Robert Emmet Theatre (Arts Building)

    The evening takes the format of a brief presentation by approximately 10 employers (provisionally confirmed so far: Google, Procter and Gamble, IBM, Ernst & Young, Ulster Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland) and will be followed by a networking reception.

    We have set a provisional date of November 12th but this may be subject to change as the atrium might not be available for a reception.

  • 6. Secretaries and Stockbrokers Night this Wednesday!

    We are having our first social night out this year, on Wednesday in Purty Kitchen. It’s being held in association with our good friends from the Trinity Traders and is being run by ENTS so should be a great night. Drinks are only €2 with tickets just a fiver. There are a limited number of tickets left so if you give me a text on 0863428630 I will hook you up!

  • 7. Committee Expansion

    Finally we are hoping to expand the committee in order to spread the workload of running a society, particularly since most of us are in final year and would be nice to have a good group to pass the reins on to. Email entrepren@csc.tcd.ie and we'll organise a time/place to meet with you and talk it through!
