    Hi all, we have many exciting events coming up that will be well worth attending:

    A day of leadership (Tomorrow - Friday October 29th)

    Inside the Mind of a Consultant (Monday November 1st)

    Tata Dragon's Den (Deadline for entering: Friday November 12th -- Live Final: Tuesday December 7th)

  • 2. A day of leadership (Tomorrow - Friday October 29th)


    Leaders of international and Irish business and technology will talk to the Entrepreneurial Society and the Phil in an exclusive event for Entrepreneurial and Phil members. Addresses to the Societies will be made by the Chief Economist of the World Bank, Dr Justin Lin; Founder of Twitter, Jack Dorsey; Founder of Skype, Niklas Zennstrom; and Curator of TED, Chris Anderson.

    This event will be taking place in the Chamber of the GMB on Friday October 29th.

    The event will run from 10am-2pm.

    Seats will be allocated on a first come first served basis so arrive early if you want to be guaranteed a place.

    The social entrepreneurs section of the talk, which we expect to be of most interest to our members, will start at 12.30pm.

    A reception in the GMB will follow this event.

  • 3. Inside the Mind of a Consultant (Monday November 1st)

    The Trinity Entrepreneurial Society and Tata Consultancy would like to invite you to attend this session on understanding what consulting is about.

    The format of the event will be as follows;

    1) A brief overview on what Tata do
    2) A group case study with a short presentation from each group
    3) Tata will then present what their solution would have been

    It is a great opportunity to understand exactly what consultancy is about. Also, Tata offer summer internships in Consulting based in London. 3 of these positions are solely aimed at Trinity Students. It will be a great opportunity for anyone looking to work in consulting over the summer.

    This event is taking place in the Joly Theatre in the Hamilton Building on Monday November 1st from 6pm-7.30pm.

    It will be followed by a reception -- Details of which will be announced on the night.

    As we have such a big room booked for this event we hope as many people as possible will turn up.

  • 4. Tata Dragon's Den (Deadline for entering: Friday November 12th at 5pm)

    The deadline for entering this years Tata Dragon's Den is fast approaching.

    All you have to do to enter is think up a business idea, draw up a business plan and submit it by email to: entrepren@csc.tcd.ie. Business plans must be no more than 5 pages long.

    A panel of judges consisting of respected figures from business community will be named shortly.

    The winners will receive cash prizes to fund the development their business ideas.
    The prizes are:
    1st place: €1,750
    2nd Place: €750
    3rd Place: €500

    The Judges decisions are final.

    The live final be held on Tuesday the 7th of December from 7pm.
