  • 1. AGM (March 16th)

    As another year comes to an end we will be holding our AGM and electing a new committee.

    The positions up for grabs are:

    Chairperson
    Treasurer
    Secretary
    PRO
    Speaker Convenor
    4 Ordinary Committee Members

    The AGM will be taking place on March 16th at 6pm in Arts 3016.

  • 2. Thorkil Sonne - Social Entreprenership Talk (March 14th)

    This will be our last event of the year!!

    Thorkil Sonne, Founder of the Specialist People Foundation, will be holding a talk for all our members on March 14th @ 7.00 in the Neill Hoey Theatre, Trinity Long Room Hub, Trinity College.

    More about Thorkil:
    Thorkil Sonne, a Danish Social entrepreneur is the founder of
    Specialisterne and the Specialist People Foundation. Through his
    company he is opening up new opportunities for Autistic adults.
    Thorkils youngest son Lars was diagnosed with autism at the age
    of 3. Thorkil became president of a local chapter of Autism
    Denmark for three years where he learned that people with ASD
    seldom have a chance to use their special skills in the labour
    market.After 15 years working with IT within telecommunication
    companies Thorkil knew the value of the skills he saw in people
    with ASD and he founded Specialisterne.

  • 3. Think Outside the Box Awards

    Enterprise Ireland Think outside the Box Awards.
    This is a national competition where student teams go head to head to develop products or internationally traded services that would enable them to start their own business.

    All details are available on the website www.thinkoutsidetheboxawards.com and the closing date for the compeition is Monday 25th April 2011.
