Thank you to everyone who showed interest in continuing the association. We have put in a lot of hard work to get the association where it is today and can't wait to see where you all will take it in the future. Which brings us to our next topic...
2. Nominations - Now Through March 8th
Nominations will be open on the main website until March 8th
If you would like to run for office, or know someone who would do an excellent job, please feel free to nominate them (or yourself) to a position on the Student Association of Entrepreneurs' Board. You will now find a *Nominations* link on the top right corner of the menu (below the SFSU logo).
Do not worry if your candidate does not show up immediately. I have to update the page manually so it may take a couple days.
Nominations will be up until the end of the week. Voting will begin in two weeks, lasting one week (16th-22nd).
We are co-hosting the 2009 Entrepreneurial Student Summit in Sunnyvale, CA at the Plug and Play Tech Center's main campus. If you are planning on attending, please buy your tickets early as space is limited (and we want SFSU to represent).
4. Calendar
Those who attended either of the first meetings or the Welcome Night were invited to a google calendar to share their desired meeting times. We have only had a couple people fill out their availability on the calendar. We are going to start making programming decisions based on the limited information that we have. Please fill in your best available time if you want your voice to be heard.
If you would like to be added to the calendar, please feel free to e-mail saeship@sfsu.edu (or simply reply to this e-mail).
