Welcome to NICENT
NICENT was established as a result of a competitive bid made to the Science Enterprise Challenge (SEC) initiative. It is led by the University of Ulster in partnership with Queen's University Belfast. The primary aim of NICENT is to drive, promote and support entrepreneurship in Higher Education in Northern Ireland.
The partners are committed to embedding a culture of entrepreneurship through:
* Integrating entrepreneurship training in programs of study.
* Supporting potential entrepreneurs within Higher Education.
* Establishing national and international networks with leading best practice exemplars.
* Engaging with other stakeholders in all sectors.
* Recognising and rewarding achievement.
