ABOUT US

The Global Startup Workshop (GSW) is the world’s premier conference on fostering entrepreneurship through supportive and catalytic infrastructure such as that epitomized by MIT’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Each year, roughly 30 MIT students organize the 3-day conference in close collaboration with partners from a different host country in order to address issues facing students, academic faculty, venture capitalists, government leaders, entrepreneurs, and top business leaders.

We are proud to celebrate the 10th annual GSW by bringing the conference to Trondheim, Norway. The conference will be held on March 26-28, under the theme “Converting Innovation to Impact”. We are working closely with partners at START Norway and within the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) to develop an interactive event to explore the questions facing the next generation of entrepreneurial support organizations.

    Hi Folks,

From the MIT GSW 2008 organizing team, thanks to everyone who came to Trondheim, and welcome to all who will join us in a few weeks in Madrid for the 11th edition of the MIT Global Startup Workshop. It's ramping up to a great conference!

I'd like to invite everyone coming to Madrid to join our official networking site at:

    http://mitgsw08.ning.com/

There have been a few GSW 2008 networking sites set up, but Ning is our primary meeting place, just so there's no confusion and everyone's not spread out.

We recognize that not everyone is on Facebook, but if you are, please join 'MIT GSW 2008 - Madrid' there as well!

Thanks! Looking forward to meeting everyone in Madrid.
