  • Launch event+IDEAS EMPOWERED challenge

    Dear members

    We are delighted to announce that IE is finally back on stage with an thrilling series of event and the IDEAS EMPOWERED business idea competition.

    The challenge consists in two rounds with submission of a 1500 words executive summary on the 28th of March.The top 8 teams then move to the final for which they will deliver a short presentation and will be judged by an independent panel of investors.

    The competition will be bundled with 5 lectures structured according to the logic of the summary to be submitted (Product;Technology transfer and IP;Marketing and Strategy;Raising and Managing Finance) and aimed both at inspiring and educating our members.

    The competition will be coordinated via the IDEAS EMPOWERED Younoodle platform and teams will have the chance to be mentored by professional entrepreneurs.

    Your ideas will be protected by non-disclosure agreements but hopefully by the end of the competition you will find out that your idea is hardly worth a penny(IP excluded) without the right implementation which tend to be the harder and sleep-depriving bit.

    The Winners will be awarded a £3000 cash-prize as well as services such as start-up consulting, profiles on Cmypitch, introduction to investors and finally attendance at our day workshop.The latter strives to be pragmatic in content and interactive with group exercises and appearance of professional accountants,IP lawyers etc...

    Come to our launch event on the 16th Februrary and meet successfull young entrepreneurs Jan Sramek(Nicube),Jonathan Pfahl(Rockstar),Kieran O'neill and Hermione Way(Newspepper).The talk will be followed by drinks and a networking/team building session.
