1. BUSINESS SUMMARY TEMPLATE
You are required to use the "summary template" as the prescribed form for submission of business summary. The template can be downloaded from below: http://www.sechallenge.hk/2009/files/HKSEC_summary_template_2009.doc
• The name of your project and each team member are required on the cover sheet. If you have a video available for evaluation by the Judges, please also input the YouTube URL for video accordingly.
• The content outlines are created for your reference only, They are designed to guide your thinking process. You may change them at your discretion.
• Please rename your summary to a format "teamnumber" where "teamnumber" should be your team number from 001 to 215. If your team number is 200, your submitted summary will be named as e.g. 200.doc or 200.pdf
• You may see your team’s number at http://www.sechallenge.hk/2009/?q=students

2. SUBMISSION PROCEDURES FOR SUMMARY
Summary Document Format: Submission of Summary is required only in digital format by uploading to the designated platform and through email. The file must be prepared either in Microsoft Word (2003 version or earlier) or Acrobat PDF format.
1. By Uploading to YouNoodle
YouNoodle is the official partner of HKSEC in providing a business plan competition management platform for the Judges to evaluate the document entries online. You MUST upload your Summary to this platform otherwise your entry will not be judged.

Procedures:
1. The team leader must join Younoodle in order to submit the entry, but each team member is also encouraged to join so that you can create a startup (which is your future SE venture) on the Younoodle platform.
2. Join our Group HKSEC 2009 in Younoodle by clicking here.
3. Skip the steps of importing your resume and contact finder.
4. Set up your YouNoodle account by clicking “My Profile”.
5. Click to our Group HKSEC 2009
6. Click "Submit an entry" and you will be prompted to a page to fill in your startup name, location, stage, public one-liner, visual promotion link (screenshot).
7. Remember to check both “Terms” and “Guidelines” in the Competition-specific details, otherwise you cannot enter the next page for "Manage Competition entry" (screenshot).
Notes for creating your startup:
• Create your startup: Each individual can create a startup under his/her "My Profile" page. Team leader should take up the role to "Add a startup" and invite your team members to join your startup. Startup name, type, status, public one-liner and location are all required data. The Visual Promotion link is applicable for teams that created the video.
• Since each team can only submit one entry, it is better for the team leader to create the startup first, then inviting other team members to join. Members can click "I'm on this team" to join a particular startup. The team leader should approve their application to the team in the admin panel afterwards.

3. SUBMISSION PROCEDURES FOR VISUAL PROMOTION (Optional)
You are encouraged to prepare your visual promotion in the form of video to help and supplement your Summary by presenting visually the need and how your business will create social value by addressing that need. There is no preferred format or theme to restrict your creativity. The only requirement is:
- The video must be no more than 3 minutes
How to submit your video
1. Each team should create one user account at Youtube.
2. Upload your video to Youtube. Read here on how to upload a video if you have any doubt.
3. Input the URL of your Visual Promotion to the cover page of Business Summary and the Submit page in Younoodle (screenshot) accordingly.
