ABOUT US
Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge (HKSEC) , organized by the Center for Entrepreneurship of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, is the first and only inter-collegiate social venture business competition in Hong Kong. Since its inception in 2007, over 2200 students from 21 tertiary institutions in Hong Kong have joined. Both winning teams will receive internship awards of up to HK$48,000 per member to turn their business ideas into reality.
We believe all students have the potential to become successful social entrepreneur. Through a structured competition model, HKSEC encourages students to turn creative business ideas into meaningful and sustainable commercial ventures that promote social good. To equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed for the competition, we provide a series of seminars, workshops, mixers and community visits, where they can exchange ideas and interact with professionals, merging traditional business with social value creation.
