ABOUT US
HeadStart Ventures is India's first angel fund. We invest between Rs 20 lakhs to Rs 2 crores ($50-500k) in startups, assist selected startups hands on with their business plans, and provide access to early customers.
We start working with startups in two ways
1) quarterly bootcamps : these are 5-7 full day workshops with a selected set of startups that meet up and work with our team of 10-12 partners. The objective is to create and refine business plans, work out funding requirements and evaluate the startups for mentoring and funding.
2) weekly brainstorming sessions : this is one startup a weekend meetup that we have in our office every Saturday where we brainstorm on a startup's business and product for a few hours over chai and snacks.
