    Education Managers,

    The submissions are in for the semi-finalists of Desafio Intel! Judges now have access to the plans and will be reviewing them before the in-person presentation dates. We have asked them to submit their feedback and scores before the presentations so that you can compile them and have them handy for the actual judging discussions that will be happening on the day of.

    During the phone call last week, we asked for any judge volunteers who would be interested in the Latin American General group. Please send the name and email addresses of anyone who has responded.

    Below you will find several sections that need your attention. Please go through each and make sure everything is set as it should be! If you have any questions, please feel free to email desafiointel@younoodle.com.

    Please click on your country to make sure that the list you see reflects the judges who are supposed to have access to the plans this year:

    If there is a mistake, please let us know ASAP!

  • 3. Presentation Days

    These are the dates that we have so far. If you have not done so already, contact all the judges to make sure that they are aware of the in-person presentation logistics. Sending them as much information as possible before the actual day will make things a lot smoother.

  • 4. Numbers Advancing to the Finals

    These are the number of finalists that each group should select for the Regional Finals:

    Argentina: 2

    Chile: 1

    Colombia: 2

    Costa Rica: 1

    Mexico: 2

    Peru: 1

    Uruguay: 1

    LAR General: 1

    Brazil: 4

  • 5. Next Steps After Round 2

    - We will have a total of 15 Finalists from Latin America.
    - These teams will be asked to record their presentation (not in-person), which will be available for the Final Round Judges to watch.
    - All finalists will submit updated Business Plans through YouNoodle by October 4, 2010.
    - There will be a judging call, tentatively set for October 20, 2010, after the judges have time to read and evaluate all the teams.
    - 3 Ranked Winners will be chosen from the region to receive cash prizes as well as travel to IBTEC 2010.
    - IBTEC 2010 will be from Novemeber 15-20.
