ABOUT US
Stanford Entrepreneur’s Challenge (E-Challenge) is an annual business plan competition conducted by the Business Association of Stanford Engineering Students (BASES) with the purpose of developing the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Participants learn about venture formation and explore their entrepreneurial dreams in a supportive environment. Throughout the year, we encourage you to participate in the workshops, team building activities, mentorship program, and the Industry Thought Leaders’ Seminar. It is an opportunity to share and develop their skills, produce business ideas, and start companies. This program is open for students from all disciplines and not limited to business or engineering schools only.

I have been told that 2nd round participants cannot submit their business plans through younoodle.
If you are a 2nd round participant, please send your business plan to ssfking@gmail.com instead. In your email, tell me your name and name of your start-up.
I will send you a reply within a day confirming that I have received your business plan.
Good luck!
Hello everyone... do you know where can we submmit the new files?... we have been trying since last week but no idea... in the BASES page says under the logo, but it only says the deadline has already passed.
any idea?
This year in addition to the regular prizes from E-Challenge, Philips has sponsored an additional $1,000 prize for the best "Consumer Product" business plan. We received many quality consumer product business plans this year, and it has been difficult for Philips to pick a winner. After much discussion, we are pleased to inform you of the winner of the 2010 Philips Consumer Product Prize as Nanolab. Nanolab not only has a solid and diverse team, but they also have a strong and scalable proposition that could deliver on a broad consumer need in addition to clinical domains.
Congratulations to Nanolab for winning this year's $1,000 Philips Consumer Product business plan prize!!
Semi-Final Round Submission
In the semi-final round, all the teams will present their business plan to the judges. The presentation will be 16 mins long (10mins presentation and 6 mins for Q & A). Teams have to submit a copy of the complete business plan by the deadline and bring a copy of their planned power point presentation in a usb drive, on the date of the presentation itself. Teams will be mailed their presentation time slots, and must report at the venue at least 15 mins before their slot.
Guidelines for the Presentation:
There are no hard and fast rules on your presentation. In general, make sure your strongest points are said early and often. You will only have 10 minutes to make a big impression, followed by 6 mins Q&A. The long Q&A session ought to make sure the judges have a solid understanding of your plan.
