  • First phase is over - looking forward to the next

    Dear entrepreneurs!

Congratulations to Baisikeli who won the first phase of the Develop Prize! And Thanks to our sponsor Merkur Bank!

Let me stress the answer to an important question we have been posed a few times now. Everybody can participate in the second phase of the Develop Prize that will be held may-june 2009. It does not matter how you fared in the first round, or if you participated at all. Well, then again, if you had not participated in the first round, we would not be able to give you feedback from the jury, feedback, which might help you win the second phase, the finals.

Most of the participants were able to come to the event last Thursday (11/12) and I hope you enjoyed it; it was nice meeting you in person.

Some of you expressed a wish to further discuss your ideas with the jury and the rest of our advisory board. I have asked the jury if they wish to get in contact with you, and I am still waiting for the reply. We also hope that we can give you a coach, to help you improve before the finals – so check out the website (www.develop-dk.dk) look at our Advisory Board, and email 3 names, in priority, to developprize@develop-dk.dk and we will hopefully be able to offer you some expert support. The quicker you ask for it, the better the chances to get the coach you want!

To participate in the finals, hand in a business plan before the 4th of May – on June 2nd, 5 nominated groups will pitch their project in front of Jury, and the winner will be awarded the Develop Prize. The size of the prize is to be announced.

Our Jury have obviously not spent their time commented on the great things, and the comments might seem hard – But – you have received all the comments made on your projects, so if you are able to deal with the critique, you might be in a very good position at the finals!
