    Dear Intel Challenge 2010 Participants,

    Happy December! We hope this finds you well and wanted to give you an update on the results of the competition.

    Desafio Intel Latin America and Intel Challenge Europe regional winners traveled to Silicon Valley in mid-November to compete at the Intel+Berkeley Technology Entrepreneurship Challenge (IBTEC) for an intensive 3 day event. There were a total 27 teams from all around the world invited to Berkeley, 9 of which came from Desafio Intel and Intel Challenge. Of the 27 teams, 8 finalist teams were selected to present in the Final Round. Three teams from Desafio Intel and Intel Challenge, Oscomp Systems (Dominican Republic), Adtelligence (Germany), and Unima (Mexico), made it to the final round.

    We are delighted to share that Oscomp Systems received First Place and Adtelligence received Third Place at IBTEC this year.

    We are so proud to have had representatives from both Latin America and Europe in the top tier of companies presenting to venture capitalists, professors, and specialists. It speaks to the quality of all your entries to the Desafio Intel and Intel Challenge competitions.

    There is one last component to this year's competition: The People's Choice Award. Unima, a finalist at IBTEC, is in the running for a $5,000 USD prize!
