    The Cambridge University Technology and Enterprise Club (CUTEC) aims to bring innovative conferences to the Cambridge entrepreneurial community.

    Every year we host an annual Technology Ventures Conference (TVC). We are keen to hear your views on potential topics for the coming year. What topics would entice you to come to our TVC?

  • 3. Join i-Teams for the Michaelmas Term – Apply by 23 September

    Are you an aspiring entrepreneur? Interested in how research is commercialised? Then read on!

    "Working on this project has taught me an enormous amount about general business strategy, market analysis, team building, effective communication and presentation. This has been an invaluable experience for me." Jing Zhang, Chemistry, i-Teams student

    In the ground-breaking i-Teams programme, post-graduates from across the University work together to discover the commercial potential of a real Cambridge invention. Each team collaborates with researchers and industry mentors to assess the route to market for the emerging technology. At the end of the term, the team presents their findings to a business and academic audience and have the opportunity to present at the annual CUTEC Technology Venture Conference.

    The programme lasts for a term and includes regular group sessions, team meetings and individual work.

    This term’s projects:

    Cost-effective carbon capture and electricity generation, Materials Science

    Identifying medical uses for expressive robots, Computer Lab

    Commercialising a highly-sensitive inertial sensor, Cambridge Nanoscience Centre

Applications are welcomed from post-graduates, postdocs and 4th year undergraduates from any University in the East of England, as well as all CUTEC members.

    i-Teams: Commercialising Creativity - join us for the autumn and gain hands-on experience in commercialising new ideas.

    Join i-Teams to be part of an exciting team, learn about taking real creative innovations to market, strengthen your skills and have some fun! Apply by 29 September
