The transformation took place in Cambridge 50 years ago which has made it an attractive entrepreneurial ecosystem. The early entrepreneurs didn't just start companies, they started two major industries: inkjet and wireless. Why did they do it and how might this mirror your ambitions, choices and motivations? Steve Temple, Alan Richardson and Phil O'Donovan are the voices of experience in the latest CfEL video now available online at http://t.co/OfouxBqV
The attraction of Autonomy:
As shareholders decided whether to accept the pre-share offer, CfEL's Dr Shai Vyakarnam was interviewed on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme and BBC Radio 5 live Wake Up To Money programme on 3rd October. He talked about why Autonomy is in such high demand http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-15152710

Last month, our President Elizabeth Williams had the great privilege of being interviewed by Caroline Dean, freelance journalist on behalf of the National Consortium of University Entrepreneurs (NACUE) - a fast-paced, grassroots organisation that stimulates university enterprise by supporting, connecting and representing enterprise societies and student entrepreneurs in Universities across the UK.
The article resulting is purely astonishing: “And in the same way that TED delivers its magic via a conference. So does CUTEC”, and a true reading delight. It is with a sincere gratitude that we’re encouraging you to read NACUE’s blog: http://nacue.wordpress.com/2011/09/23/a-mini-ted-in-the-m...
We’re truly thankful for this promotion of CUTEC as well as for the motivation generated by being compared to a TED like conference “A mini-TED in the making? Let’s hope so!”
