World first entrepreneurship diploma for Cambridge!
The University of Cambridge Judge Business School's Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning has launched a ground-breaking one year Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship to start in September 2011. It is offered on a part-time basis and the resulting qualification is accredited by the University of Cambridge, currently ranked the world’s number one university. The programme is largely delivered through an online learning environment allowing flexibility of study but, more importantly, making it accessible on a global scale. In addition, students gain the opportunity to meet with experienced entrepreneurs and experts from the vibrant and successful local community during two residential sessions located in Cambridge, UK. The Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship takes advantage of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning's experience in providing educational opportunities and resources for entrepreneurs over the last ten years. The key faculty are Dr Joanna Mills, Programme Director; Dr Shailendra Vyakarnam, CfEL Director; and Dr Shima Barakat, CfEL’s Research and Teaching Fellow. It is open to anyone from across the world looking to develop an entrepreneurial career pathway through building a business venture based on new technology, developing a social enterprise, pursuing an opportunity in the arts or creative media, or, launching an innovation within an established organisation.
