  • 1. CUTEC Technology Ventures Conference, 9 June 2011

The 8th Annual CUTEC Technology Ventures Conference on 9th June is fast approaching!

This year, the Technology Ventures Conference will address the importance of the Ideas Economy, specifically the process of effectively implementing this, as well as examining the effect on high tech clusters including Cambridge.

TVC 2011 will provide delegates the opportunity to understand the concept, its benefits and applicable scenarios through direct engagement, connectivity of ideas, and problem solving at a networking level. The conference aims to provide delegates with a platform to create new ideas, network with a range of international companies, form new business relationships and most importantly catalyse inspiration.

Speakers include George Whitesides (CEO of Virgin Galactic), Mike Addison (Global Business Development at Procter & Gamble), Ted Shelton (CEO of Open-first) and many more!

In addition to the main conference, we are hosting an exhibition of start-up companies in the UK (Technology Start-up Showcase) and well-established Cambridge based companies (Cambridge Diamond Exhibition):

Intellectual Property (IP) can be called "the currency of innovation". Most companies recognise the growing importance of IP but many still don't have the strategy and structure in place to protect, manage and exploit it.
