  • 1. LAST MINUTE FORUM ANNOUNCEMENT

    If you have been considering attending the 29TH ANNUAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION FORUM in Cincinnati, Nov 4 - 7, 2011 please note that the cutoff date for the conference hotel is Friday, October 21`. And we also appreciate early conference registration for the sake of planning.

    ** HOTEL - The conference will be held at the Hilton Netherland Plaza, a beautiful and historic hotel in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. Rooms are available at a wonderful rate of $99 per night for up to 4 people per room. Deadline for reservations is October 21, depending on availability of the reserved block.     NOMINATE THE 2011 OUTSTANDING EDUCATOR AND THE SPECIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION LEADER - Consortium members are encouraged to submit your nominations for these two annual Consortium AWARDS. Applications due by October 25 (extended date). Consortium members, see these attached forms for details: 1. Outstanding Educator Award and the 2. Leadership Advocacy Award .

  • 2. PLANS FOR CEE BUSINESS AT THE NOVEMBER 4 MEETING

    Consortium Members Special Meeting - Friday, November 4 - Read this invitation for all Consortium members and guests to explore the meanings of Slavery and Freedom (Then and Now) as we visit the Cincinnati Freedom Center and partake in an opportunity to share ideas and enjoy an Italian Feast. Registrations required.

    We have posted the proposed Program of Work for the Consortium 2012 on a special FTP site so you can read it before we vote at our meeting November 4. All partners, sponsors, and corporate members will have a single vote for your organization.

    The budget that goes with it for 2012 is also posted there. It includes the anticipation of funding for a new initiative that we plan to launch in Ohio - THINK LIKE AN ENTREPRENEUR. We have also posted a summary of this new entrepreneurship education initiative. Those present at the business meeting November 4 will vote on these proposals.
