  • 3. "Dream BIG . . . Nurture the Entrepreneurial Spirit"

Announcing the 30th Annual National Entrepreneurship Education FORUM !

Atlanta, Georgia is the site for our fantastic professional development conference being planned for November 9 - 12, 2012 at the Melia Hotel in downtown Atlanta. Wait until you see the breathtaking view of this exciting city from the 25th Floor.

Your officers met last weekend with a great Conference Planning Team assembled by Co-Chairs Linda Smith (GA Department of Education) and Paul DeLargy (GA REAL Enterprises). The team helped us create the FORUM theme . . .

"Dream BIG . . . Nurture the Entrepreneurial Spirit"

that will carry our message to everyone interested in entrepreneurship education at any level. They gave us great ideas for speakers and tours, and ways to make the conference the best yet. After all, this is our THIRTIETH YEAR!

Watch the FORUM website http://www.entre-ed.org/_network/forum.htm for conference details. The CALL FOR PROGRAMS will be posted in the coming week with deadline for proposals April 15. We ask our members to be on the program to share your great ideas, and also to help us find entrepreneurship educators at all levels of the lifelong learning process who may not even know about the FORUM....and have a great program to share.

For those who missed the FORUM in Cincinnati you can still access the videos, pictures, and PowerPoints at http://www.entre-ed.org/_network/forum2011.htm

  • 4. HELP US MAKE 2012 THE BEST YEAR YET!

Our goal is to work together to make 2012 as important for "entrepreneurship education" as possible. Members of the Consortium are critical to succeeding and we thank you for your past membership and leadership.

Note that our annual membership rate has not changed in several decades....and is still $500 for each Partner organization, $3000 for each state, and $100 for an individual educator. The best way to keep the Consortium growing is to find new members while serving the needs of the "old". http://www.entre-ed.org/_contact/index.htm

Please let me know your ideas for doing this better for 2012. We value our members' opinions.

    Cheers,
    Cathy
