1. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO RECENT AND OLD FRIENDS FROM OVER THE YEARS!
My wish for 2010 is that all of us will find the means to bring the message of Hope to youth and adults through the Power of Entrepreneurship. Personally I wish I could give each of you the funds you need to do wonderful things.
But right now my gift to everyone is a Revisit to the 27th Annual Entrepreneurship Education FORUM. If you could not join us I hope you will find time over the Holidays to listen to our fabulous speakers, check out the wealth of pictures provided by Dean Kanipe, and look at the PowerPoints shared by many of our outstanding entrepreneurship programs.
Did you see the latest style for National Entrepreneurship Week?
You too can sport a long-sleeve t-shirt that tells you what to do if you can't spell entrepreneur!
We encourage you to think about how you can spread the word about Entrepreneurial Literacy by using the "20 QUESTIONS FOR ALL AMERICANS".
We had a lot of fun at the FORUM by discussing those 20 questions and sharing our opinions with the whole conference. And yes, everyone did get a GENIUS Certificate signed by me!
We invite each of you to find a way to Celebrate NATIONAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP WEEK, February 20 - 27, 2010. We have posted a lot of ideas online that we encourage you to use in some way in your program. Find all these resources online and let us know what else you need.
Your state leadership team coordinator is listed there and working to make your state stand out. Feel free to share your ideas and successes with them so we can post lots of activities in all of the states. AND IT CAN BE ALL YEAR ROUND....not just the special week.
REMEMBER, It Takes 50 States to Make an ENTREPRENEURIAL NATION!
4. SHARE YOUR IDEAS
As entrepreneurship educators we know you are creative people. We are always open to your ideas, find ways to share them online, and adopt them whenever possible.
For example, see Future CEO Stars, our free, online student magazine, was an idea from one of you. Have you seen the latest issue online now? Have you tried the Problem-based Activities we provide for each issue tied to the individual young entrepreneur stories?
CHEERS.....and a very MERRY Holiday to All.
