3. VOTE for the Free Enterprise Video Contest Winner
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce's American Free Enterprise. Dream Big. campaign launched the "I am Free Enterprise" video contest in late January -- a fantastic opportunity for budding or already established entrepreneurs to win $100,000 in cash prizes!
The submission deadline for the contest was Friday, April 9 at 6 pm EDT. To date, they have received more than 100 entries. Next up is the contest viewing blitz, which will run from April 9 - April 16. They want to level the playing field and give each entrant an opportunity to promote his or her video to drive the number of views. Viewership is critical - in order to be considered for round two, a video must be one of the top 25 most viewed videos.
Stay tuned for more information on the video contest. For more information on the Campaign for Free Enterprise, please visit the Chamber Web site.... http://www.freeenterprise.com/

6. SOMETHING TO SHARE: The Ten "Cannots" of Political Economy
• You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
• You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
• You cannot help small men by tearing down big men.
• You cannot help the wage-earner by tearing down the wage-payer.
• You cannot further the brotherhood of mankind by encouraging class hatred.
• You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
• You cannot establish sound security on borrowed money.
• You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn.
• You cannot build character and courage by taking away man's initiative.
• You cannot help man permanently by doing for them what they could do and should do for themselves.
This quote has been attributed to William Boetcker , (1873-1962) German-born Presbyterian clergyman
