  • ANNOUNCING OUR NEW WEBSITE for Entrepreneurship Education!

    The Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education invites you to visit our new website . designed for teachers, instructors, youth leaders, program developers and others who help students of all ages find their own entrepreneurial opportunities.

    Your FIRST Link to Entrepreneurship Education, small business design, the entrepreneurial mindset, micro-enterprise, small business management, enterprising behavior, home-based business, self employment, or just plain business start up!

    What you will find at the new version of http://www.entre-ed.org ....

    1. Click on "WHY"... "WHAT" ... "WHERE" ... "HOW" ...and "WHO" to see what you can find about entrepreneurship education !

    2. Also click on any of the four "Successful Young Entrepreneurs" from past issues of Future CEO Stars. Each month we will feature new CEO Stars with a link to their stories.

    3. Our member organizations are stars too! This month we are featuring the Illinois Institute for Entrepreneurship Education in Chicago for our first of the "ENTRE-ED STARS". Keep watching to see who it will be next month.

    4. We have added a "keyword" Search Box to help you navigate through our site.

    5. There are new ways to Communicate with each other through the use of FaceBook, Twitter, YouTube, and YouNoodle .

    6. Here you can learn about the new electronic Future CEO Stars - our magazine "by students for students" that will be FREE online for everyone starting in August, 2009. Instructors will also want to use the Teacher's Guide with activities related to the articles each month.

    7. The site is an excellent central point for all kinds of information about our member organizations.

    8. Links also are available for the 27th Annual Entrepreneurship FORUM ... as well as the conferences from 2008 and 2007. Conference details and a printable flyer are online now. Scholarship applications for teachers are due September 25.

    9. Our Online Database "Entrepreneurship Everywhere" is easily available in the section entitled "WHERE". Be sure to send us your profile if your organization is not listed.

    10. Advertising on the homepage is NOW available at a modest cost. You can buy it on a monthly basis or for a whole year. Please contact me for further information.

    Can you imagine how pleased we are to have a 16-year old, very talented, entrepreneurship student as our webmaster? Can you find him on our homepage?
