1. NEW RESEARCH SUPPORTS TEENS' INTEREST IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP
We have good news to share ... thanks to a newly published report on student attitudes about entrepreneurship, free enterprise and capitalism.
In a national survey released yesterday by Junior Achievement USA™ (JA) and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's National Chamber Foundation (NCF), U.S. high school students revealed their knowledge and perceptions of entrepreneurship, free enterprise, and capitalism and how these factors will influence their future career choices. The study found that high school juniors are interested in owning their own businesses, but are concerned about the economy.
Both JA and NCF agree that education is key to empowering young people to embrace the risks and rewards of entrepreneurship. Read the entire report ... http://www.yealeaders.org/pdf/ja_chamber.pdf
