Join us Wednesday at 6pm for a workshop with Scott Sherman, Founder of the Transformative Action Institute (http://www.transformativeaction.org/), and the creator behind the course that Anke's currently teaching at Cornell. He'll discuss his approach to social entrepreneurship teaching and the process for starting such a course on campus. His course is another model in the ever-changing realm of SE Pedagogy, focusing on connecting social entrepreneurship to personal transformation and unlocking students' passion. He and his colleague have now taught it at roughly 20 universities across the country, ranging from Princeton and Yale to the UC-Santa Clara and University of Colorado, and created a manual for other interested faculty to teach it themselves.
We'll then proceed to dinner at our favorite pizza place down the road from Ashoka's office. Scott's one of the more amazing storytellers we know, so we want to give everyone plenty of time to hear what led him here. And of course, we miss you, and can't think of a better way to catch up than over great pizza and great conversation.
