Enterprise Tuesday: Making It Happen
Date: Feb 16, starts at 18:00
Venue: Department of Engineering, Cambridge
With guest speaker John Mullins, Associate Professor of Management Practice, London Business School. Despite numerous books and articles on business planning, a plethora of websites, and no shortage of good advice, most business plans attract no customers and raise no capital. This talk argues that the problem with most business plans isn’t crafting them poorly or even wrong. It’s doing the wrong things. And it identifies a process and a framework for getting to a business plan and a business model that will actually work. To find out more and register, please see http://www.cfel.jbs.cam.ac.uk/programmes/enterprise/index...
Enterprise Tuesday continues on 26th Jan with session focussing on risk and the part played by instinct in recruiting people. A panel of 3 guest speakers, Neil Davidson (Co-Founder and joint CEO, Redgate Software); Steve Barlow (Co-Founder, Alphamosaic); and Alex Mehta (Communications Director, Judicium), will explore not only what makes a great team but also what makes a great entrepreneurial team.
