    Please plan to join the Big Bang! on Wednesday Nov 11th from 7pm - 9pm at the Big Bang! Marketing Workshop. This event will be held in RM 1213 of Gallagher Hall on the UC Davis Campus. Our presenter Lynn Strand is a behavioral marketing specialist. She will review general market research strategies for your team’s startup business, as well as, issues to consider when developing a marketing plan for your new business venture.

    About Lynn Strand:
    Lynn’s a creative director, behavioral marketing specialist and president of her own marketing firm, Positive Impact Partner. Her “secret sauce” is her extensive background in cognitive and behavioral psychology, which gives her an unusual degree of insight into how people think, act, and buy. Her unique approach really does inspire customers to take action, and shortens the sales cycle, with positive measurable results.

    Lynn has over 20 years experience with both commercial companies and non-profits including dozens of clean technology, energy efficiency and green businesses, as well as community outreach, high technology and consumer enterprises. Her experience includes generating leads in innovative ways, coordinating international branding campaigns, launching new products and programs, managing multi-million dollar budgets, and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing and advertising programs---then making adjustments to get even better results!

    She’s a go-getter too. In the environmental space, she’s a 2008 graduate of Acterra’s Be the Change Environmental Leadership Program and helped launch multiple green companies. As Marketing Chair of the Cleantech Open, she set up marketing programs, messaging, social media ready website and training to increase volunteer involvement and satisfaction. In social services circles, she was known as the “start up queen”…able to take impossible situations and turn them into successful community-based social services programs. She regularly shares her inspired marketing approach with organizations, to help them learn to make every marketing dollar count…while also creating smiles and loyalty along the way.
