  • 1. UPCOMING EVENT: Marketing Workshop Wed Nov 18th

    Please plan to join the Big Bang! next Wednesday Nov 18th from 6pm - 8pm at the Big Bang! Marketing Workshop. This event will be held in RM 1213 of Gallagher Hall on the UC Davis Campus. The presenter will review general market research strategies for your team’s startup business, as well as, issues to consider when developing a marketing plan for your new business venture. Light refreshments will be provided.

  • 2. TEAM BUILDER ONLINE NOW!!

    If you are interested in participating in the 10th Annual Big Bang!, but do not have a team, or if you have an idea, but need help to bring it to the next level, please enter in your information to our TEAM BUILDER FORM. You information will be entered into our database and our team management representatives will assist you in building your team.

    In addition to the team builder form, be sure to attend as many of the workshops/mixers as possible (especially the upcoming Contestant Mixer on Nov 4th). The workshops are a great way to network with other members of the Big Bang! community and start the team formation process.

  • 3. SEA Event Sat Nov 14th- RSVP NOW (Limited Slots Available)

    As part of the Big Bang!’s partnership with the Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy, 10 members of the Big Bang! community will be able to attend each of the upcoming SEA events free of charge. The next event is this Saturday Nov 14th and will be a session on legal issues pertinent to startup businesses and strategies to protect your company’s IP during the company formation process.

    Events are held on the CSUS campus in Riverside Hall, Room 1008 and are from 830am-1230pm. If you are interested in attending, RSVP NOW as limited slots are available (please include “SEA NOV14th RSVP” in the email subject line)

  • 4. SACRAMENTO STATE GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURS WEEK – Nov 16th to Nov 20th

    Our partners in the Sacramento Association of Collegiate Entrepreneurs (S.A.C.E.) will be hosting series on events the week of Nov 16th through Nov 20th with the goal of inspiring innovation and spire entrepreneurship in the Sacramento region. The events are part of Global Entrepreneur’s Week and will be held at various location in Sacramento. The events vary from keynote speaker and panel events to social mixers, as well as, a business elevator pitch competition with a chance to win prize money and a chance to enter into the UC Davis Big Bang! business plan competition!
