    The Big Bang! Organizing Committee would like to congratulate team Inserogen as the official winners of the 10th annual Big Bang! Business Plan Competition.
    Inserogen presented on an innovative plant-based technology for animal and human vaccine production.

    Congratulations are also due to the runner up Nomad, for their nanotech to boost hard drive capacity by 800%, and the people’s choice winner Pedianostics for creating a new paradigm for diagnostic tests for infant disease.

    Thank you for your hard work and your fantastic presentations.

    We would also like to thank all the numerous sponsors, judges, participants and mentors who participated in this year’s event. Your participation is integral to the continued success of the Big Bang! and is responsible for driving entrepreneurship at UC Davis.

  • 3. WDCEP Business Plan Competition - Deadline Extended

    On behalf of the Washington, DC Economic Partnership (WDCEP), I would like to remind you about the WDCEP Business Plan Competition. We believe that the brilliant minds at the Graduate School of Management have the skills and innovation to create the best business plans for the District of Columbia. The winner of the WDCEP Business Plan Competition will receive the following awards:

    1. $100,000 CAPCO investment (not a grant) from Advantage and Enhanced to be invested solely into the winning business (the winning business must be approved for CAPCO Program investment by DISB, remain in the District during the life of the investment, com¬ply with the District’s CAPCO Program rules, and provide quarterly reporting to Advantage and Enhanced to satisfy accounting and audit requirements)
    2. Promotional video to be aired at the 2010 WDCEP Small Business Awards on July 28, 2010
    3. 20 hours of legal consultation from Venable LLP, valued at $10,000
