2. A Message from BASES
Hello BASES members!
Spring is finally here, and with it comes the full force of next generations entrepreneurs. It must be something in the air here on the west coast that just reaches down into your core and lights up your brightest dreams and aspirations, because that's the only way we can explain the incredible amount of entrepreneurial thought and action that's taking place as we speak.
The next few weeks hold some exciting events, both here at Stanford and beyond. In the next month alone, the Bay Area will see two startup weekends (StartupWeekend in San Francisco and Venture Weekend here at Stanford). Not only that, but the BASES E and Social E-Challenge are gearing up to duke it out this quarter in a "winner-takes-all" business battle for a total prize of $50,000.
Just look around you. Everyone is feeling the urge to strike out on their own, but we're here to tell you that you're not alone. As a BASES community member, you will never be left without access to events, advice, mentors, or simply other entrepreneurial friends like yourself.
We are pleased to be serving the Bay Area's largest entrepreneurial community and its most important member, you!
Stay tuned for more entrepreneurial action than you can shake a stick at. You'd better grab your hat.
Best wishes,
- The BASES Team
