Startup House Information Session
7:30PM to 8:00PM ~ 200-002, History Building
Stanford University
Tired of living with your parents?
Tired of the time it takes to find a good job?
Startup House will help you get a job in a Silicon Valley startup and help you find great housing.
Want to live with 10 other Stanford students with similar interests in startups, computers, and having a good time? College life doesn't have to end when spring quarter does. With Startup House, you can expand your college experience and find a great job with an entrepreneurial company.
Why we do it: Huge companies like IBM and Microsoft are able to offer full internship programs due to their large size. Startups offer great work opportunities, but are unable to support full internship programs because of their small number of interns. Startup House provides an incredible internship experience for startups that would not otherwise be able to offer one.
Benefits:
Identification of jobs and matching you to an employer
Resume help and interview prep, if requested (our job is getting you a job)
The possibility of living in the Startup House, housing that is both cheaper and cooler
Programming such as speakers and events, equal to that of a large company's internship program
A great community of intelligent, fun-loving people who have interests in entrepreneurship and technology
Come join us Thursday evening for a light information session about our exciting summer opportunities and FREE PIZZA!!!
When: Thursday, March 5 -- 7:30pm to 8:00pm
Where: 200-002, History Building
