Stanford University's Entrepreneurial Thought Leaders Seminar is a weekly speaker series that brings innovation leaders from the fields of business, finance, technology, education, and philanthropy, share their insights with aspiring entrepreneurs from all over the world.

Judy Estrin is currently the CEO of Packet Design, an industry leading integrated suite of IP traffic and route analysis products. She is also the author of Closing the Innovation Gap, a general interest book that challenges national, academic and business leaders to work together to make America competitive again. Furthermore, Judy is a technology entrepreneur who co-founded seven companies with Bill Carrico and was the CTO of Cisco Systems from 1998 to 2000. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Walt Disney Company and FedEx Corporation, and formerly on the boards of Rockwell and Sun Microsystems. She also serves on the advisory boards of Stanford’s School of Engineering and Bio-X interdisciplinary program, and is a member of the University of California President’s Science and Innovation Advisory Board.
Judy has been named three times as one of Fortune magazine's 50 most powerful women in American business. She was honored in 2002 with induction into the Women in Technology International Hall of Fame

Gumball Challenge Kickoff Event

The Gumball Challenge, Stanford's 1-week microfinance benefit competition, kicks off this Saturday @ 1PM in Old Union Room 200! Come by or spread the word if you want to raise money for the working poor in developing countries. Prizes include a lunch meeting with Premal Shah, President of Kiva.org, free gift certificates to local restaurants, and more!
