  • 1. Announcement from African Incubation Network (AIN)

Who do you consider have been the shining lights under your support, mentoring and facilitation? We seek examples from each country within our sub Saharan Network.

On your behalf, Michael Reddy and his SABTIA team are creating a brochure which will highlight your AIN success stories. Please review your incubator clients routes and journeys to market and graduation and submit your stories about their growth.

Let us collaborate with you all to make this a showcase publication for our upcoming March Conference and also a tool we can present to Public and Private sector partners to leverage their support.

  • 2. AIN on LinkedIN

As you can see over at AIN on LinkedIN ,
we have 122 LinkedIn Members who have created their own profile.

This is a free service and allows you to show your professional background, skills and interests. You can also indicate where you seek information, support and new contacts.

  • 3. AIN on YouNoodle

Here on AIN on YouNoodle. we have 403 members, 89 of you have taken the time to create your profiles. Everyone is a subscriber and gets the AIN announcements and Newsletters.

Some of you have also started to profile and analyse your incubator clients and startup teams with the YouNoodle predictor tools. Please feed back to everyone how you find these relate to your own circumstance?

  • 4. AIN Knowledge Portal

We also have over 300 members who have access to our secure AIN Knowledge Portal. .

During the next two weeks we will be rebuilding that collaboration server before mounting new links, resources and incubator tools.

It will host discussions and preparations for our upcoming AIN Spring Conference in Durban.

During February we will invite you all to contribute and share with us your favoured links, resources and tools which work for you wherever you are working with your incubatees and entrepreneurs.

  • 5. Mapping Incubators Sub Sahara

The primary place to find the incubators we have located in sub Saharan Africa is here.

    map of Incubators.

Each entry contains our record of the managers, staff, location, address, contact details, webpage etc. You can zoom down to city level anywhere on the map.

In the event you find more up to date details and or new incubators please feed them back to me and I will update the map entries.
