Lester Center and the UC Berkeley Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology launch FounderSchool in partnership with Kleiner Perkins, Sequoia and Greylock
FounderSchool, a program founded in partnership with the Lester Center for Entrepreneurship and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, launched today. FounderSchool is a 10-week startup accelerator program, led by serial entrepreneur Steve Newcomb, that accepts five students per cohort program and helps them either get into Y Combinator, get angel funding or get venture capital funding. We are proud to announce that we have partnered with the venture capital firms Kleiner Perkins, Greylock and Sequoia as well as the angel investor marketplace, Angel List, as part of our program. Applications and information are available online at www.founderschool.org and will be accepted now through May 31st. The program will start on June 8th.
